We're now two weeks into the new year... So what does 2026 mean for you?
As we begin 2026, I always find the month of January a great time for a little gentle reflection and reset. Below are a few prompts that I used recently to help consider my routines, priorities and mindset.

2025 Reflection:
What went well?
Relocating (new home & new job)
Progress with acting & writing
Meeting new people and making friends
What made me happy?
Nature
Acting
Writing
Time with friends & family
Exploring Scotland
What were my achievements?
Publishing my poetry book
Joining theatre groups
Performing in plays and the Edinburgh Fringe
Prioritising my mental health
Facing the fear but still doing things that are out of my comfort zone!

Creating Healthy Habits:
A Daily Habit: early bedtime.
A Weekly Habit: two (or three) evenings off for time to myself.
A Monthly Habit: a weekend reset (to rest & relax, reflect and re-charge, and do things to 'refill my cup').
My Words for the Year:
Health and Self.
My 2026 Mantra:
"I am creating my own journey and I am where I am meant to be."
My 2026 Affirmation:
"I have everything I need to take me forward."
