January's Monthly Check-in:


Theme of the month: health & self.


Priorities for this month: sleep, nutrition, exercise, de-cluttering & planning.


Main priority of the month: small steps and rest.

Self-development goal: to read as much as possible.


Intention of the month: to observe my behaviours and actions that stem from the internal pressure I place on myself.


Daily habits to incorporate: early nights; free time; and reading.

Self-care Activities:

Below is a list of self-care practices that I will be adopting this month:

  • scheduling time to do absolutely nothing;

  • resting, relaxing and re-charging with zero guilt;

  • gradually (baby steps!) sorting and de-cluttering my environment for 2026;

  • creating a slow morning routine centred around protecting my peace and long-term health goals;

  • and finally, getting as much natural sunlight as possible and using my new SAD lamp when it's not possible.


So as we go into January, how can you take time out for you?
