June's Monthly Wellness

It's the first of the month so let's jump right into our reflections for May and beyond!

We are now nearly half way through 2025 and I don't know about you, but time seems to be flying! As each month rolls on by, I question whether or not I have achieved anything that I originally set out to do...
Sometimes it can feel like progress is being made but you can't necessarily see it. I know that I am making steps in the right direction but the process definitely feels somewhat slow moving.
As a result, I can find myself stuck living in the rose tinted past or frozen worrying about the scary unknown of the future: neither of which are conducive to a positive, productive and present mindset. Consequently, I am trying to live in the moment- day by day- and just enjoy its process. And yes, this is much easier said than done!
So as usual, I begin by asking myself the usual questions: What is going well in my life? What areas that could do with some readjustments? |
My word of the year: energy!
Theme of the month: small, daily habits and balance.
Priorities for this month: planning and routine; hobbies and free time; health and well-being.
Main priority of the month: to keep working on my goals with a more balanced approach. As mentioned in the intro, accepting that both the process and success of achieving your goals takes time. And as a result of this, I will appreciate and value every small step I make in the meantime.
Self-development goal: to practise learning lines and poems for performances.
Intention of the month: to listen to both my body and mind in order to rest when needed.
Daily habits to incorporate: good bedtime routines for adequate sleep and rest; thirty minutes of exercise per day (ideally outside in the fresh air and natural sunlight); and finally, one small step (each day) towards my writing and acting goals.
What am I reading this month? Chris McQueer's short stories and works.

Over to you:

What would you like to prioritise?

I wish you a joyful June!
