Cathedrals & Churches
St Paul's Cathedral is a must for anyone visiting London for the first time. It's iconic dome structure is an impressive and notable feature of the city's stunning skyline. Don't forget to head up to the Whispering Gallery (30 meters up above) and test out the sound- if you face the wall and whisper, someone standing with their ear against the wall on the opposite side of the dome should be able to hear it, so be careful what you whisper!
Westminster Abbey is also a key landmark with its historic roots as the coronation church for British monarchs since 1066. It has also hosted many royal weddings and is the final resting place for many notable historic figures.

Other Areas of Interest
For those who follow British politics, seeing 10 Downing Street along with The Houses of Parliament may also be at the top of the agenda. Nestled in Westminster, these two famous locations are a short walk from one another. And at least here, you'll be able to get your snaps of the renowned Big Ben!
No trip to London is complete without a good old visit to a pub! They are in endless supply so it won't be difficult finding one... choosing one on the other hand: a different story! Grab yourself a beer and some fish & chips and take a break from all the sightseeing. However, if beer isn't your thing and you prefer a nice glass of wine, head to Gordon's Wine Bar: London's oldest wine bar. With its candlelit cellars and atmospheric charm, you'll be pleased that you found this little gem tucked away on Villier's Street.
Finally, there is so much to do- you'll never get bored! Just being there, in the atmosphere, soaking up the scenery is enough! This city is bustling with energy and excitement- so just enjoy!
