Please see below a list of personal development books that changed my way of thinking!
Personally, I love self-help books; I've always been a fan and I have often found them to be really valuable in helping to change my mindset for the better. I have been reading nonfiction personal development books now for a number of years so I have read many but here are are some of my faves:
Atomic Habits by James Clear: a great book for teaching you how to create good habits through effective systems.
Why Has Nobody Told Me This Before by Dr Julie Smith: a great guide for support with managing difficult emotions through a variety of effective strategies to help improve overall mental resilience.
The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey: a manual of seven core principles to help guide both a productive and fulfilling personal and professional life.
Good Vibes, Good Life by Vex King: this book explores how self-love and a positive mindset are the foundations of a good life.
Make Change That Lasts by Dr Rangan Chatterjee: an interesting, unique (but realistic) approach to making long lasting change through altering the way you think about life's everyday stresses.
You Can Heal Your Life by Louise Hay: a compassionate guide for healing both the mind and body.
The Dose Effect by TJ Power: a close look at endorphins, serotonin, oxytocin and dopamine and how you can implement lifestyle changes for a natural boost of them all.
The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck by Mark Manson: focus on your values, focus on what matters to you and don't worry about the external noise- this is the inspirational and direct message of the book.
Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway by Susan Jeffers: a motivational manual for overcoming fear, developing self-confidence and turning dreams into a tangible reality.
Working Hard, Hardly Working by Grace Beverley: working smarter, not harder- this nonfiction narrative provides tips of how to achieve a sustainable and productive work life thus avoid burnout.
