Autumn is upon us... So how can we lean into the changing seasons and embrace nature's magic?

October's Monthly Check-in:
Theme of the month: theatre and performance.
Priorities for this month: learning my lines for shows and attending rehearsals; preparing for my October show; promoting and advertising my debut book; self-care; and finally, taking time for myself to rest and relax.
Main priority of the month:Â working towards my October show.

Self-development goal:Â put an acting CV together with reels and to begin filming readings of my poems.
​
Intention of the month: to be in the moment.
Daily habits to incorporate: to start taking vitamin D tablets to combat the lack of sunshine; eat five portions of fruit and veg per day; and finally, limit caffeine intake.

What am I reading this month? Hings by Chris McQueer.

What are your priorities and goals this October?

Self-care Activities:
Below is a list of nourishing self-care practices:
breathing exercises and meditation for emotional self-care;
enjoying a pedicure for physical self-care;
writing sessions (in the morning) regularly for mental self-care;
more rest and relaxation for regular rejuvenation;
and finally, enjoying small treats like flowers and scented candles.
So as we go into October, how will you strike a balance between well-being and work?
